The following general sales conditions govern the contract for the purchase and sale of products offered to customers through the website http://www.steamvoyage.com by "SteamVoyage," owned by Castorani Gabriele, located at Via Fossacesia No. 27, 00156 Rome.

The website displays the real-time availability of each product. If a product is not currently available, the customer can still purchase it and may contact "SteamVoyage" to find out when the purchased item will be back in stock. The customer can contact us in the following ways:

In case of errors in product availability, delays, or issues with restocking, "SteamVoyage" will promptly notify the customer via email or phone to find an appropriate solution to the issue.

Order and Prices:

The customer will be able to view products and their features as provided directly by the manufacturers of the goods and/or third-party experts in creating product specifications. Published photographs are for illustrative purposes only. "SteamVoyage" sells numerous products that are almost entirely or partially handcrafted and thus should be considered unique and different from one another.

For this reason, there may be small differences in shape, color, and size compared to the photographs displayed on the website and the respective product description, as well as minor imperfections that reflect manual craftsmanship. In the event of significant differences noted by "SteamVoyage," at its sole discretion, between the ordered product and the available item, before delivery, "SteamVoyage" reserves the right to send a photograph to the customer to show the characteristics of the product being sent.

The price displayed on the website is expressed in euros and does not include shipping costs and any requested services. "SteamVoyage" reserves the right to change the price of products and/or services on the site at any time, at its sole discretion, without prior notice. The price listed on the website is exclusively reserved for online purchases and must only be processed on the web platform. In no case can the same sales conditions apply between the website and a physical store, as they are distinct entities. Customers wishing to purchase one or more products must follow the sales instructions on the website and submit their order to "SteamVoyage."

Payment:

Payment can be made through PayPal or, if requested by the customer, via bank transfer.

PayPal: The PayPal system is an efficient and secure credit card payment method. It allows credit card payments without any registration obligation. For more information, please visit http://www.paypal.it. "SteamVoyage" will not have access to the buyer's credit card details at any point during the purchase process, as they are transmitted directly to the bank service provider via a secure connection. For this reason, "SteamVoyage" is not responsible for any fraudulent or illegal use of credit cards and other payment methods by third parties during the purchase process on the website.

Bank Transfer: By requesting this option during the purchase process, "SteamVoyage" will send the necessary details to complete the transaction. For this payment method, the order will be processed once the payment is credited, which usually takes between 3 to 7 business days. The customer must send the bank transfer receipt by email to: scrivici@steamvoyage.com.

Order Delivery:

"SteamVoyage" ships throughout Italy using various express couriers to offer the best service and competitive rates. Once payment is confirmed, "SteamVoyage" will prepare the order, and once the goods are handed over to the courier, the customer will be notified of the shipment via email or phone.

Any customs duties and taxes imposed by foreign countries are the sole responsibility of the customer.

"SteamVoyage" cannot be held responsible for errors and/or failure to deliver an order due to inaccuracies or incomplete data provided by the customer for shipping.

"SteamVoyage" will not be responsible for delays in pickup, transportation, or delivery of any item, regardless of the cause of the delay. "SteamVoyage" will also not be responsible for loss, incorrect, or non-delivery due to force majeure, unforeseen events, or any other reasonably unavoidable cause.

"SteamVoyage" shall never be held responsible for direct and/or indirect damages or losses of any kind, however determined, that the customer may incur, regardless of whether "SteamVoyage" was aware that such damages could occur. For example, indirect damages and losses include: loss of profit, earnings, goodwill, clientele, image damage, etc. While "SteamVoyage" disclaims responsibility for indirect damages, the customer may arrange at their own expense for an insurance policy to cover transport-related damages. In the absence of insurance coverage, all such damages will be directly assumed by the customer, as noted above.

In derogation of Articles 1686 and 1690 of the Civil Code, if transportation cannot be carried out, "SteamVoyage" will notify the customer to find an appropriate solution. In the absence of timely instructions, "SteamVoyage" will hold the items in storage for 14 days without assuming any responsibility for their preservation.

Customer Rights and Responsibilities:

The customer is solely responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of the information and data provided to "SteamVoyage," and it is forbidden to provide false and/or fictitious data during registration and ordering. The customer must also inform "SteamVoyage" of any changes to this information.

By confirming the purchase, the customer declares that they have read, understood, and accepted the General Sales Conditions and authorizes "SteamVoyage" to process the personal data provided at the time of purchase.

Upon delivery of their order, the customer must check:

  • If the number of packages (boxes/parcels) indicated on the shipping label matches the delivered quantity.
  • That the packages (boxes/parcels) are intact, undamaged, unopened, unaltered, and undisturbed at the time of delivery. If these discrepancies are found, they must be immediately reported to the carrier and noted on the shipping label to prevent the loss of insurance coverage and/or future refunds.
