Shipping policy

“SteamVoyage” ships orders using various express couriers to provide the customer with a better service and competitive rates. Once the payment is verified, “SteamVoyage” will prepare the order, and as soon as the goods are handed over to the courier, the customer will be notified of the shipment via email or phone.

Any customs duties and taxes imposed by foreign countries are the sole responsibility of the customer.

“SteamVoyage” cannot be held responsible for errors and/or non-delivery of the order due to inaccuracies or incompleteness of the shipping information provided by the customer.

“SteamVoyage” will not be liable for delays in pickup, transport, or delivery of any item, regardless of the reason for the delay. Additionally, “SteamVoyage” will not be responsible for loss, incorrect or non-delivery due to force majeure, unforeseeable events, or any other cause reasonably not attributable to “SteamVoyage.”

“SteamVoyage” can under no circumstances be held liable for direct and/or indirect damages and/or losses of any kind, however caused, that the customer may incur, regardless of whether “SteamVoyage” was aware or should have been aware that such damages could occur. For example, but not limited to, indirect damages and losses include: loss of profit, loss of earnings, loss of goodwill, loss of customers, reputation damage, etc. Without prejudice to “SteamVoyage’s” exclusion of liability for indirect damages, the customer has the option, at their own expense, to obtain a special insurance policy to cover transport-related damages. It is understood that in the absence of insurance coverage, all the aforementioned damages will be borne directly by the customer, given the above exclusion of liability by “SteamVoyage.”

In deviation from Articles 1686 and 1690 of the Civil Code, if the transport cannot be carried out, “SteamVoyage” will notify the customer to find an appropriate solution to resolve the issue. In the absence of timely instructions, “SteamVoyage” will retain the items in storage for 14 days, without assuming any responsibility for their preservation.
