Gift ideas for everyone at the SteamVoyage Christmas markets

As 2025 draws to a close, SteamVoyage is gearing up to end the year with a bang and start it off even stronger!

We're back from the "Christmas in the Village of Tussio" event, during which the village in the province of L'Aquila transformed into a Christmas trail, enlivened by traveling music, shows, and creative activities. For the first time, alongside our handcrafted accessories for board games and role-playing, we also featured handcrafted interior design creations and leather clothing accessories. This way, we offered artisanal gift ideas that were original and suitable for everyone, not just role-playing and board game enthusiasts.

Since we were able to display our items against the backdrop of an ancient stone village, we took advantage of the steps to highlight our asymmetrical leather belts: simple, decorated with string art or with embossed steampunk motifs, they are available with both strap closures and practical leather fringes.

For interior design enthusiasts, we've created a whole section of epoxy resin and olive wood serving trays; the resin chargers are available with a wooden base, a square version with wood inserts, or entirely in resin. We've also brought along our bamboo cutting board with steampunk resin details and our hand-painted wood and leather paintings. And of course, we've also included epoxy resin coasters featuring the constellations of the zodiac signs: a fun and original handcrafted gift idea.

The Zodiac Collection was a standout: from leather bookmarks that can be personalized on the spot with designer designs to hand-painted ones, from zodiac sign keychains to hand-painted leather journal covers. For those looking for an affordable, handcrafted gift idea, we included mini leather keychains, also featuring the zodiac sign and designer images.

There was no shortage of clothing accessories dedicated to Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter fans: from planners with hand-painted Sauron's Eye and the Marauder's Map, to keychains engraved with the Map of Middle-earth. Dungeons and Dragons enthusiasts also found hand-painted D&D class bookmarks.

Of course, wherever we go, our handcrafted board game and roleplaying accessories go with us! Dice trays were a major highlight at the booth: from simple, uncoated dice trays to hand-coated and hand-painted trays, to luxury dice trays like the round dragon tray and, above all, our Ring of Power dice tray, a magnet for gaming and Lord of the Rings fans. Furthermore, our Dungeons and Dragons class-themed dice bags were highly appreciated, as were our larger, custom-engraved dice bags for Dungeon Masters.

In short, the SteamVoyage booth was packed with handcrafted gift ideas for everyone, and we want to bring it back to our next event. It's "Cantine di Natale a Colonna," which every weekend until December 21st transforms the historic center into a small, enchanted village. We'll be participating on December 6th, 7th, and 8th. For the occasion, we've created a little new feature for younger role-players: a children's game that will allow every young player to create their own Dungeons and Dragons character by rolling dice based on race, class, and orientation.

Cantine di Natale a Colonna will be our last event of 2025, but for a very good reason. SteamVoyage is starting 2026 with a bang, participating in Palombara Comix, the Comics, Role-Playing, LARP, and Cosplay Festival, which will be held at Castello Savelli in Palombara Sabina on January 3 and 4, 2026. For that occasion, the SteamVoyage booth will be entirely dedicated to handcrafted accessories for role-playing and tabletop gaming, but we'll talk more about that in the next SteamVoyage blog post.

For now, we're enjoying our last Christmas market of 2025 and trying to finish out our second year of business on a high note! We hope to see you there for a chat, a hello, and heartfelt wishes.
